Do you know our HIFI FILTER\u00ae SN 001<\/a><\/span><\/strong>? It is our bestseller. 140,000 units sold in 2021. But what are its characteristics?\r\n\r\nThe SN 001 is a diesel filter, compatible with a wide range of applications, particularly in agriculture and public works. Inside its tank, there is a media that can filter up to 10 \u00b5m. Its filtration surface is 0.045 m\u00b2. When mounted on a complete system, the SN 001 always has a filter head with inlet and outlet connections. A settling bowl is installed on the other extremity. These types of complete systems are available in our HIFI FILTER\u00ae catalogue, for example under the reference MO 1613<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. It also comes with two flat seals and two O-rings. How does a decanter filter work?<\/h3>
The complete system with the SN 001 filter physically separates the fuel from the water through decantation (see<\/em> Separation and Filtration: our expertise)<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. The fuel, loaded with water, enters the filter at the head. The mixture passes through a filter medium, which is designed to retain unwanted particles. The liquid then flows down to the decanter bowl. At this stage, the settling process can take place. Thanks to gravity, the water, which has a higher density than the fuel, settles to the bottom of the bowl. A drain is installed to empty the collected water. The final step is for the purified fuel to flow back up the central tube and then be re-injected into the system to ensure that the equipment functions properly.\r\n\r\nIn short, by blocking impurities through the media and separating water through decantation, this fuel filter retains the various contaminants, both liquid and solid, to preserve the purity of the fuel and thus protect the engine and the injection system.<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n\r\n
