1. Purpose<\/h2>
HIFI FILTER cares about the quality of its email communications and about respecting its customers, partners, and business contacts.\r\n\r\nThis policy explains how HIFI FILTER works to prevent unsolicited email and to reduce the risks linked to spam, phishing, and misuse of its email systems.\r\n\r\nHIFI FILTER operates several domains as part of its business and communication activities, including: hifi-filter.ch, hifi-filter.co.uk, hifi-filter.co.za, hifi-filter.com, hifi-filter.de, hifi-filter.es, hifi-filter.eu, hifi-filter.fr, hifi-filter.net, hifi-filter.pl, and hifi-filter.ro<\/strong> (referred to below as \u201cour domains\u201d). This policy applies to all email sent from, or advertising, these domains. <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n

2. General principles<\/h2>
HIFI FILTER only sends marketing or promotional emails about our domains to people who have agreed to receive them, or with whom HIFI FILTER has an existing business relationship that gives us a legitimate reason to reach out (customers, prospects who have shown active interest, partners).\r\n\r\nHIFI FILTER never buys, rents, or uses contact lists built through scraping, bought from data brokers, or obtained without the people involved being told about this use.\r\n\r\nOur emails may cover things like:\r\n

  • business relationships with our customers and prospects;<\/li>\r\n \t
  • relationships with our suppliers and partners;<\/li>\r\n \t
  • order and service follow-up;<\/li>\r\n \t
  • information about our products and services;<\/li>\r\n \t
  • company news and announcements;<\/li>\r\n \t
  • information needed to run our services.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nHIFI FILTER makes sure its emails stay relevant to the actual relationship with the recipient and to the topic of the message. <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n

    3. Managing recipients<\/h2>
    HIFI FILTER takes steps to make sure recipients of our emails have agreed to receive them, or have a genuine relationship with the company.\r\n\r\nThe addresses we use for our emails come only from:\r\n

    • people signing up voluntarily through forms on our domains;<\/li>\r\n \t
    • existing business relationships (customers, resellers, partners);<\/li>\r\n \t
    • requests or contact initiated by the recipient themselves;<\/li>\r\n \t
    • contacts collected at trade shows and professional events, where people were clearly told how their details would be used.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nHIFI FILTER does not use any list that has been bought, rented, exchanged, or built by a third party without the consent of the people on it.\r\n\r\nOur mailing lists are cleaned regularly to remove invalid addresses, long-inactive contacts, and anyone who has asked to stop receiving our emails. <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n

      4. Unsubscribing and managing preferences<\/h2>
      Where relevant, our marketing and promotional emails include a simple way for recipients to opt out.\r\n\r\nUnsubscribe requests are handled as quickly as possible, and our mailing lists are updated accordingly.\r\n\r\nOpting out of marketing emails does not necessarily stop emails that are needed to carry out a contract or run a service, when these are legitimate and necessary. <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n

      5. Identifying our emails<\/h2>
      HIFI FILTER makes sure its emails clearly show where they come from.\r\n\r\nEmails sent on behalf of HIFI FILTER use addresses and domains that belong to, or are authorized by, the company. <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n

      6. Security measures<\/h2>
      HIFI FILTER uses technical and organizational measures to protect its email systems and reduce the risk of its domains being misused.\r\n\r\nThese measures may include:\r\n

      • spam filtering tools;<\/li>\r\n \t
      • phishing and malware detection tools;<\/li>\r\n \t
      • email authentication mechanisms (SPF, DKIM, DMARC);<\/li>\r\n \t
      • monitoring of sending activity;<\/li>\r\n \t
      • management of the accounts and services allowed to send emails;<\/li>\r\n \t

        7. Using vendors and partners<\/h2>
        When needed, HIFI FILTER may use specialized vendors or platforms to send certain emails. These vendors are chosen and used in line with applicable requirements for security, data protection, and email management.\r\n\r\nAny partner, reseller, affiliate, or third-party vendor promoting our domains must follow the same consent rules set out in this policy. HIFI FILTER may end its business relationship with any third party that does not follow these rules. <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n

        8. Handling complaints<\/h2>
        Anyone who believes they received an unsolicited or suspicious email that appears to come from HIFI FILTER can let us know at:\r\n\r\nabuse@hifi-filter.com<\/strong>\r\n\r\nReports may cover things like:\r\n

        • misuse of the HIFI FILTER name or one of our domains;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • emails received despite an unsubscribe request;<\/li>\r\n \t
        • messages that look suspicious in origin.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nHIFI FILTER reviews the reports it receives and may take appropriate action, including checking where the message came from and, when needed, putting corrective measures in place. <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n

          9. Spoofing of our domains<\/h2>
          HIFI FILTER can be targeted by identity or domain spoofing, where a message is made to look like it comes from us when it does not.\r\n\r\nReceiving a fraudulent message that uses the HIFI FILTER name, logo, or a domain similar to one of ours does not mean the message was actually sent by HIFI FILTER.\r\n\r\nIf you’re unsure whether a message is genuine, we recommend not clicking any links or opening attachments, and contacting HIFI FILTER through our official contact details instead. <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n

          10. Data protection<\/h2>
          Personal data used for our email communications is handled in line with applicable laws and regulations, as well as the HIFI FILTER privacy policy.\r\n\r\nRecipients can exercise their rights and find out more by referring to our privacy policy. <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n

          11. Policy updates<\/h2>
