De nombreuses industries y ont recours, de l&rsquo;a\u00e9rospatiale \u00e0 l&rsquo;automobile, en passant par la fabrication d&rsquo;outils et de moules.<\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"Text1Column\" data-component-id=\"Text1Column\">\r\n    <h2 class=\"Text1Column-title\">Comment \u00e7a marche ?<\/h2>        <div class=\"Text1Column-text AppText\">Le processus d&rsquo;\u00e9lectro\u00e9rosion n\u00e9cessite : de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, une \u00e9lectrode, une pi\u00e8ce \u00e0 usiner (obligatoirement conductibles) et un fluide di\u00e9lectrique. Contrairement aux autres m\u00e9thodes d\u2019usinage, l\u2019EDM ne requiert aucun contact direct entre les \u00e9l\u00e9ments. Comment est-ce possible ? Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la conductivit\u00e9 des mat\u00e9riaux.\r\n\r\n<strong>Lorsque l\u2019espace entre l\u2019\u00e9lectrode et la pi\u00e8ce (appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0gap\u00a0\u00bb) est r\u00e9duit, une d\u00e9charge \u00e9lectrique se produit entre ces deux \u00e9l\u00e9ments conducteurs<\/strong>. En traversant le fluide di\u00e9lectrique, ce courant \u00e9lectrique cr\u00e9\u00e9 une \u00ab bulle \u00bb qui va ensuite imploser. Cette micro-implosion usine localement la surface de la pi\u00e8ce.
