The increased complexity and precision of modern equipment now requires that the fuel used be kept clean. In correlation with these technical developments, extremely fine and fast filtration is essential to meet the new requirements of diesel engines. The main objective is to avoid contamination of your machines, unforeseen downtime of your vehicle fleet and additional maintenance costs.

Fuel routing: a risk of contamination with every transfer

From refineries to storage depots to petrol stations, RNG (Non-Road Diesel) storage tanks or to smaller tanker trucks used for refuelling on construction sites, diesel undergoes multiple transfers. Each of these movements represents a risk of fuel contamination. Particles or water can infiltrate and alter your system, causing a variety of complications (*). In order to prevent any risk of contaminant infiltration, HIFI FILTER® offers you high flow filtration solutions.

Red Series, the assurance of fast and clean refuelling

At HIFI FILTER®, our RED SERIES is a filtration solution for stationary bulk fuel storage applications.
Used in service stations upstream of the tank or pump, this high flow, high performance filter quickly decontaminates large quantities of fuel, while ensuring the cleanliness required by manufacturers.

The installation configuration of the RED SERIES spin-on filter varies depending on its position in the fuel distribution chain.
  • 1) When placed between the fuel truck and the tank, several fuel filters can be mounted in a parallel installation to absorb the high fuel flow without pressure drops.
  • 2) In the storage tank, corrosion and condensation can lead to fuel contamination. Before the pump, the installation of one or more RED SERIES fuel filter(s) allows to retain these remaining contaminants.

With this double filtration system, fast refuelling with clean fuel is ensured. The engine system of your diesel vehicle is thus protected.

Red Series Filtration System Configurations

Proper installation of the filtration system is essential to keep the pressure drop of your system to a minimum. To achieve this, various configuration options are available.

The range of filters Red Series :

Operating pressure: up to 24 bar
Temperature tolerance: -25 to +120°C
Media type: glass fibre
Filtration threshold: 4µm, 7µm and 25µm
Other option available: water absorbing filter (33µm)
